Default Margin can anyone explain please

Hi I have a Micro account and I do not understand the margin figure shown at the bottom under the active trades, so can anyone explain how it is calculated and tell me what will happen if it gets low or zero or even negative please?

For ease lets say I have ?1000 in this account, can anyone tell me in laymans terms how it will be calculated as I trade? At the moment I have several trades running and it is showing just over 1000% but is obviously constantly changing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

Please refer to http://www.alpari.co.uk/en/forex_tra...questions.html - Question 1 for margin requirements, and to http://www.alpari.co.uk/en/forex_tra...questions.html - Question 7 for a definition of margin and the other details on MT4.

If you require any further assistance please email support@alpari.co.uk quoting your Alpari UK account number.

Thanks
