Breakthrough Discovery In Trading

If you have been trading long enough, I believe you will be very familiar with the technical indicators, ie Bollingerband, MACD, Williams, Commodity Channel, Relative Strength Index, Parabolic etc.

i have used Williams, Commodity Channel,, rest i have definitely heard but never really used them!

My system shows 48% annualised for USDJPY:

We had just completed our weekly analysis on the various currency pairs. USDJPY has caught our attention. One of the indicators have shown consistent profitable result with its signals.


If you have been using this indicator to trade for the past 8 months (start date is 1 Oct 2008), this is how your portfolio value will look like.
The graph shows that portfolio value has grown from US$10,000 to US$13,200 in 8 month?s time. Annualized return is (13200 ? 10000) /10,000 / 8 x 12 = 48% return.

I use RSI very often and I find it works fine, especially on a quiet day, also support and resistance are good indicators as many people use them.

I had heard of extreme comments from other traders, "indicators do not work", "don't waste your time using indicators", etc. Possibly those traders have been losing a lot of money using indicators in their trading and also possibly they have learned forex the wrong way.
