Hey fellow traders,
I bought a few EAs from iticsoftware.com and have been running Stomper on my live account for few weeks. Although its early days, I have been impressed with the performance of Stomper so far and it suits my risk tolerance. Its not going to make me rich overnight but it usually takes 2-3 trades a day and steadily increasing my equity. Scalper operates on the basis of finding the optimal channel on timeframe M15 and definition of orders from the found channel"s confidence intervals. I have asked the same questions to quite a few e-retailers of this EA. Sadly none of them replied, except one who could not a clear case for me to even get interested.

This EA has been on market for at least 27 days and yet not one subscriber to it has been found [ at least not by me ] to sing praises for it. But then again I may not have found the correct FX forums that discusses the said EA . I would really like to know if any Alpari clients are running this EA either on demo or real account. How is it faring thus far?

The saying by Oilfxpro " if EAs sold on the internet are such money making machines, why sell it to general public. Keep it for yourself to make money or sell it for mega money " resonates in my inner ears.

The quest for 'cheap' automated EA plods on.

Customer Opinion about our products

I have purchased Eldorado EA from BJC and today, my mini account with interbank fx is at 59th placing with 26% increment. Eldorado does more than trade CHFJPY, GBPUSD, EURCHF. It works extremely well with EURUSD, AUDUSD. It also works with USDJPY (although the pips gained is small in comparison to EURUSD, AUDUSD). It fact Eldorao doesnt work well with CHFJPY. The spread is also too great to consider the risk it takes. It has very small profits, at the end of 1 mth of Live account trading, it gains abt USD17.00. Whereas, for GBPUSD, EURUSD it can gain as much as 6000+ (GBPUSD), 3500+ (EURUSD) pips, AUDUSD (1700+) pips.

I would personally recommend that if you purchase Eldorado, place this on the above currency pairs (except CHFJPY)

PS: Boris has been very helpful to me always. Although he sometimes left out some questions not answered fully, he will get to those (i will email him again and ask for his response). With some many emails to filter thru and read/answered, it is not a small problems to read thru all emails/answered all of them fully. I have even got Boris to try to customise Stopmer for Interbank FX so that I can take advantage of it and gain more! So far, I am only very happy with EA from BJC (although I have been purchasing 3rd party EA so far).

I have also purchase Forexy GBPUSD, USDCAD. I find that the Forexy USDCAD performs badly, Forexy GBPUSD has very small profits, but very huge risk levels. Eldorado has both mid-level risks and profits. Extreme with Eldorado is rare, eg, there was once Eldorado lost 455pips, but won 302 pips for GBPUSD. Overall per month I can expect abt 1500-3000USD "growth" in my account.

Chincilla EURCAD EA is making small profits, but has smaller risk levels as well. Overall in a month I can expect about USD50-100+ from Chincilla, compared to Eldorao. I supposed even though Forexy, Chincilla can be customised for Interbank FX, the profits is not as expected when the EAs are tested with Alpari UK broker. I suspected that Forexy, Chincilla was not set to optimium parameters. I had to spend 1 afternoon to test Forexy, Chincilla before being happy with the settings (rather than take the defaulted settings). But still after 1 month, I decided to "write-off" Forexy GBPUSD, USDCAD, but kept Eldorado, Chincilla. Since Eldorado is working exremely well with GBPUSD, keeping Forexy doesnt make sense (it actually make a lost after 0.5mths of Live trading)

Any of you guys have bought Forex-AI AutoTrader? www.forex-ai.com It looks interesting. I have been working on mine for quite sometime and it usually works in bactesting but not when I run it using live trading.

I am thinking of buying this AI Autotrader, but I was hoping someone has tried it out already.

I use Forex-AI and I can tell you the followings so far:

It has some sort of neural network built in and you have to train it weekly to get good result (This is what I do anyway)

There is certain amount of subjectivity involved however when you train Forex-AI.
It seems the author recommends 4-6 month depending on market conditions then you presented several alternative parameters and you have to choose from based on drawdown and potential return.

I always had 3-10 good alternatives to choose from which I had difficulty which one to select. Never the less, I am happy with it as in the last two month this EA was profitable for me.

I found this site with freely downloadable EA's and Indicators if anyone is interested. The part I like about it that it has description on the indicators instead of just dumping them in a directory.

Our questions about scalping strategies addresses to brokers

I would like to open account with your company but I still have one question.
Your company do not prohibit scalping strategies. Please, specify what kind of trading strategies you define as scalping? Profit size? Lifetime for orders? Anything else?


The main kind of scalping we don't like is sniping disparity between interbank feeds and our own. With regard to frequent small trades, you can do as you wish with no profit, lifetime or contract size limit.
You may wish to try MT4 pro, in which you will pay commission either side of the trade, but will receive interbank rates.

We don't recognise the term scalping in the same sense that the average retail client might. As I said, you can trade in whatever way you want provided you aren't trading unethically by exploiting disparities between the prices you see with the bank and the prices you see with ourselves. This disparity happens very rarely on very illiquid pairs, such as NZDCHF. Hence, for example, if you think your strategy might involve trading 100 times a day taking a pip a trade, then your strategy is perfectly welcome at ***. I hope this is useful.

Can I trade EURGBP or EURCHF with profit = 3 pips?

Yes, because it is not trading unethically. Your strategy could involved taking 1 pip and we still wouldn't mind.
